Etude House Bling Bling Eye Stick: Review

Today's product highlight is the Etude House Bling Bling Eye Stick. If you've been with my blog since 2014, you might have already seen this product on my blog. Back then, I only reviewed one shade, Golden Tail Star. This time, I have four! :)

I was fortunate to be one of Althea Korea's beta testers before they fully launched in the Philippines. I was given credits to be spent on their items and 3 of the items I got are these new shades (in my collection) from the Etude House Bling Bling Eye Stick line. I took the chance to include my old one to give you all 4 shades in my collection.

Etude House AC Clinic Intense Pink Powder Spot: Review

Remember my post about the Clear Away Spot from THEFACESHOP? I used to rave about that product back in 2014 and I talked about it like I wouldn't be able to live without it. It was my holy grail spot treatment. Don't get me wrong. It still is, at this point, although if it goes out of stock, I have an alternative that I love just as much as that one.

Miss Age Snail Anti-Wrinkle Serum: Review

I won't lie. This product has been with me for quite some time. I got it from Memebox back in December 2014. I kept it for a while and started using the product last year and I completely forgot to do a review on it. I am not using it anymore but I still think this one deserves to be featured on this blog. This $53 worth serum definitely did some good to my skin, not as a facial serum though. How? Read on to find out. ;)

Nature Republic Skin Smoothing Lemon Peeling Gel: Review

About 4-5 years ago, I sat down with my dermatologist and she told me that peeling could help declog pores thereby reducing the amount of zits I had on my face. She also told me that it would be helpful in lightening acne scars brought about by these breakouts. While browsing inside the Nature Republic boutique in Festival Mall, my eye caught this Skin Smoothing Lemon Peeling Gel. I tried it on the back of my hand and I couldn't help but purchase.

Fresh and moisturizing peeling gel formulated with Vitamin C of rich lemon gently removes dead skin cells and impurities

One Brand Holiday Glam Look: Tony Moly

Personally, I feel that a good holiday glam makeup is defined by red lips. I usually picture my holiday makeup with red lips. This year, I am creating my look using one brand and one brand only- Tony Moly. Tony Moly is a good Korean cosmetics brand.

I recently joined their Holiday Glam Makeup Video contest where I made a video showing how I would do my makeup using Tony Moly products. I thought I's share it to you for a couple of reasons: 1. So you can watch the tutorial. 2. So you have the option to recreate this this holiday season.

To start off, here's the makeup look. It's just a very simple eye look with bright full-on red lips.

Tony Moly Tony Tint Delight in Shade 02 (Red): Review

Let me start this review by saying I've hit a gold mine with this product. Yes, I know. It sounds exaggerated but believe me when I say, it isn't. This is hands down the best lip and cheek tint I have ever tried.

Ariul Stress Relieving Purefull Cleansing Foam: Reviw

Who likes a good stress reliever? I know I do! Today, I'll be talking about the Stress Relieving Purefull Cleansing Foam. This is a part of the Memebox I got last year and I've only tried it a couple of months ago.

It's been some time since I last used a cleansing foam. Over the past four months, I've been using facial bar soaps and it was only when I used this that I remembered how nice it is to use a cleansing foam. This particular product has 75ml packaged in a really cute bright teal and yellow packaging. I absolutely adore how it looks.

This particular product is claimed to gently cleanse and leave skin moisturized through three steps of purifying, soothing and moisturizing. Natural fragrances are supposed to freshen your senses and removes microdust and impurities for healthier "purefull" skin.

After using the product, I can say that it works just as well as other gentle cleansers out in the market. It foams up pretty nicely and cleanses without irritating the skin. It isn't harsh at all. It does leave the skin a bit moisturized but you still have to go through all the steps of your skin care as you will still need a moisturizer.

The thing that I like about this product is the scent. It smells really nice. A bit of citrus, natural herb and clay scents (sorry, I'm bad at describing scents) makes it a good stress reliever, at least for me. I am a sucker for natural fragrances.

This is a pretty good product. I would recommend this to people who do not have problematic skin and doesn't have any particular area that he/she would want to focus on.

With Love,
Anna Luisa

Tony Moly Face Mix Cover Pot Concealer: Review

From time to time, I'd get full blown breakouts without any idea why it's happening. Of course, I'd pay a visit to my dermatologist but the blemishes and the scars these breakouts leave on my face need intervention, or at least they need to look less visible. To do that, I use the Tony Moly Face Mix Cover Pot Concealer.

Holika Holika Egg Soap Special Set: Review

Happy Easter everyone! I may not have easter eggs to show off but I have this- Holika Holika Egg Soap Special Set. Holika Holika Philippines was kind enough to send me this for review. I've tried some Holika Holika makeup but not skin care. I figured it's about time that I do so which is why I wholeheartedly accepted the offer.

They have an ongoing promo where a purchase of any egg soap product, whether 2-pc or 4-pc, will get you a Jelly Cleansing Puff which retails for PHP165 until supplies last.

I searched online for existing reviews on this line and surprisingly, it has good reviews. This set comes in four variants- white egg, green tea, red clay and charcoal. The white egg soap is for pore tightening, green tea is for moisturizing, red clay is for removing dead skin cells and charcoal is for sebum control. I have oily, acne prone sensitive skin and we all know that April is the start of summer here. The temperature gets warmer and warmer plus the humidity makes us sweat more than ever. This is the reason why I chose to try the charcoal soap first.

Nature Republic Honey and Herb Sleeping Pack: Review

Hi guys! In case you missed it, I'm having a giveaway in collaboration with Wishtrend and I am encouraging everyone to join. If you are interested in Korean skin care products, you're gonna love this giveaway. Link HERE.

Today, I am going to be reviewing a product from Nature Republic, my favorite Korean skin care and cosmetics brand. Specifically, I'll be reviewing the Nature Republic Honey and Herb Sleeping Pack. Before I go into that, I would like to ask you one thing. How effective, do you think, is the marketing strategy of giving away sample items after a purchase in a specific store? If you ask me, it is very effective. Honestly, I have found a lot of good skin care and cosmetics because of samples given away by different brands.

Let's take my favorite BB cream as an example-- the Nature Republic Snail Therapy BB Cream. It is, by far, the best performing BB Cream for my skin type and I mainly found out about it because I got a sample of it before. I didn't expect much from the product but because I already had the sample with me, I decided to try it out and fell in love with it on first use. I loved it so much that it's one of the first things I looked for when I went to Myeongdong.

Now, for the second time, Nature Republic has trapped me (in a good way) with another product called the Honey and Herb Sleeping Pack. I got the sample while I was shopping in Myeongdong last December and I just decided to test it out these past 2 weeks.

South Korea Beauty and Skin Care: Haul

Hi guys! Today's post is just going to be a very simple haul post. Remember I went to South Korea last December? Here's the haul I got during that trip. I honestly restrained myself from buying too much products in Korea, and I feel that I did a good job by resisting the temptation of buying every single cosmetics there. Hehe!

Frankly speaking, buying cosmetics in Korea is so much fun since most Korean brands offer good quality makeup for drug store prices. If you didn't know, I am a huge fan of Korean cosmetics. Before going to South Korea, I did my research and listed the things I needed and wanted to buy. I tried my best to stick to that list but of course, there were unnecessary purchases that I didn't plan ahead. In my defense, I think I still did a good job during my shopping spree so I request my readers to please give me a pat on the back (if you read this). ;)

Tony Moly BCDation All Master: Review

Hi everyone! Today's review is all about the Tony Moly BCDation All Master SPF 30 PA++. I got this particular product as a part of my Memebox Global #15, which I unboxed here. However, even before I got my Memebox, I was already very interested in getting my own Tony Moly BCDation the moment it was released. It was on the top of my list of 'things to buy' when I go to South Korea but I was fortunate that I was able to get my hands on it before the planned date.

Tosowoong Makeon Lip Manicure 30 Seconds (#5 Real Red): Review

The good thing about having a wide selection of lip products is that you can instantly change up your look from dainty to strong and bold with just a different color or lip finish. However, there's this one lip color that goes with anything. It can pass for everyday use, for work, for a date or even for a night out. It's a classic. Yes, you guessed it right. I'm talking about red lip color. A red lip color is very versatile but honestly speaking, it's a hard color to pull off. For me to like a red lip color, I have a few conditions I'm looking for.

Shara Shara I Wanna Pencile Gel Liner (BR01: Dark Brown): Review

I'm not sure if you remember but previously, I shared an unboxing video of a Memebox that I got and today, I'll be reviewing one of the products included in the box. For your reference, I got the Memebox Global #15.

The particular product I'm talking about is the Shara Shara I Wanna Pencile Gel Liner in Dark Brown. When I opened the box, I saw the card description of the items included in the box. It says that you get one gel liner, either in black or dark brown. Honestly, I was praying to get the dark brown and thankfully, I did. :)

N.Cat Korean Accessory Store Tour + Haul

Do you guys remember my post regarding a blog event that I attended last October for N.Cat Philippines? Yes, I'm talking about their Grand Opening event held in Makati Park Square. One major frustration I had when I got home from the event was that I failed to capture some videos for my youtube channel. I thought it was a big loss for my subscribers since they wouldn't get to see how cute N.Cat is. Good thing, however, that N.Cat Philippines informed me of the opening for their Festival Mall branch. Another good thing is that the opening was held on the exact same day my family decided to do some Christmas shopping.  So, instead of heading out to Makati, we opted to just do our Christmas shopping in Festival Mall, which proved to be beneficial for everyone since it's a lot nearer our home. In that event, I was able to take some footages.

When I arrived at the store proper, it was packed with people. Yes, it was that popular. You can't even see much of what's inside with the amount of people that were in the store. Take note, that the Festival mall branch is a lot bigger than the one in Park Square Makati. I even had thoughts of just visiting at a later date because I knew it was going to be hard for me to film in that situation. But since I felt like I owe it to my subscribers to at least get a clip or two from that opening event, I brave the sea of shoppers inside N.Cat and filmed a store tour.

THEFACESHOP Backryuncho Wrinkle Stop Eye Cream: Review

If there's a product I always rave about, it's this. My skin care changes from time to time, but my favorite eye cream doesn't. I admit to have tried switching to different brands a couple of times before (twice last year) but I always find myself going back to this brand. No other eye cream has surpassed the satisfaction I have with this Wrinkle Stop Eye Cream from THEFACESHOP.

I've been using this product since 2011 from the original Abyssine variant. Now, the formulation has changed with its key ingredient changing from abyssine (as mentioned) to backryuncho extracts. Nevertheless, both performs as good as the other.

Tony Moly Changing U Magic Mask Sheet Box: Review

There are times, when I roam around drugstore beauty sections or boutiques, I stop and ask myself, "Which face mask should I buy? Should I get the Aloe one or the Green Tea one?" After a long pause, I choose one over the other and end up buying two more variants lying around the display. It sounds stupid but the dilemma is real, at least on my part.

Just as I previously said about face masks and face packs, I rarely find significant result differences in most face masks/packs of different brands and of different variants. They just moisturize my skin and leave it soft and smooth after application. That is why whenever I look for a new face mask to try, I like to experiment with new variants I haven't tried before or I just randomly get whatever catches my eye. Bottom line is, I like the variety. It's the main reason why I was happy when I saw this face mask set box from Tony Moly Philippines.

MEMEBOX Global #15: Haul

Before anything else, let me tell you a little something about Memebox. You might have heard of this before but for those who have only seen the name "Memebox" just now, I am here to help satisfy your curiosity.

 Credits: Memebox website

Now that you have an idea of what Memebox is, it's time for me to tell you how I got a hold of this particular box completely for FREE. About 2-3 months ago, I joined a giveaway hosted by Sparkly Chee and in that giveaway, I won 10 MEME points. (Thank you!) Meme points can be used as cash in the Memebox Global website. I used that along with the one-time discount code "TRYMEMEBOX" that slashes $15 off of your purchase. Because of that, I was able to get the box without spending anything. Aren't I lucky?

Bulgogi Brothers: Food Diary

Bulgogi Brothers is a restaurant that I've heard more than once, twice or thrice from my good old 'chingu' (Korean for friend), Lyle. We're both Korean culture fanatics and we try a lot of Korean stuff just for appreciation. For a little over a year now, she's been raving about the restaurant saying small Korean restaurants we've eaten in so far doesn't compare to Bulgogi Brothers. Today, is just going to be a simple post showing you some of the food we ate while having lunch at the said restaurant.

I've never blogged about food and I don't think I have enough adjectives in my vocabulary to fully describe how the food tasted all in all so I'll just leave the photos to hopefully speak for itself. (Like it would. LOL)

Nature Republic By Flower Powder Pact (#21): Review

By the time you're reading this, I'm probably ecstatic as I roam around the land of South Korea. Thursday is my 3rd day in Korea and I'm assuming I have forgotten about blogging altogether so I'm scheduling this post a day before my flight.

Today, I'm talking about this powder pact from my current favorite Korean brand, Nature Republic. This is in the shade #21, Nude Beige, which in my opinion, is a little too light for me. It's actually originally bought for my sister, that's why. Anyway, I sometimes use it and I honestly like it more than the Tony Moly Cat's Wink Clear Pact I've previously used.
