Loreal Infallible Eyeshadow (607 Blinged & Brilliant): Review

There simply are days when I just don't feel like wearing much make-up. Good for me if I have nothing special scheduled for the day. But sometimes, it's such a pain when there's a get together with friends whom you know will dress up for the occasion. The struggle is real as you're too lazy to do your face but your pride won't let you attend without preparing yourself. This particular product is perfect for that.

Loreal Infallible Eyshadow in Blinged and Brilliant is my trusty eyeshadow for situations similar to what was shared above. As you can see, it's a very neutral apricot shade that's perfect for everyday use. Frankly speaking, I have several eyeshadows in this shade because it's my go-to everyday lid color. But what sets this particular brand from the rest would have to be the finish.

Even though the color is very neutral, it has a nice sheen finish on it that's quite noticeable even at day time. But the thing is, it's not overpowering and I wouldn't really call it glittery. I guess it's a little frosty with fine sparkles that doesn't feel awkward to wear as an all over lid color.

I like to wear this alone with a nice winged liner for that effortless pretty effect. As I've said, whenever I don't feel like applying much makeup or if I'm pressed for time, I always reach out for this because it never fails to make a statement without taking up a lot of time and effort.

This is definitely a highly recommended product for neutral fanatics out there. I got this through jcam168 of ebay.ph for the price of PHP 129, which is not bad.

Have you tried other Infallible Eyeshadow shades? How was it?
with love, Anna Luisa

hahaha i totally get you anna, i also have the tendency not to open a certain product cause i wanna keep it :)

btw i didnt know they had this brand in festival mall!

Uisa said...

They do. Just across Jollibee. Near Primadonna. Are you also from the South? :)

Uisa said...

Yes it is! And it's super handy. Actually, when I saw the sample, I remembered your review and was so excited to try it. :)

Uisa said...

Haha. Yes, this is especially useful for halloween. :)

Kimkine said...

Nice haul Anna! The bb cream packaging looks really cute. Also I love the aqua creams! I've bought two so far, the combo and dry skin ones and I love them <3

Shayne♥ said...

you just gave me an idea for halloween! i wanna temporarily color my hair as well, maybe in deep blue or red, just need to find a more pigmented brand.
thanks for shirt tip will keep that in mind :)

Go go go! :)

I've been wanting to try hairchalk din kasi I really want pink / purple highlights :D I'll check this out in watsons :D

Uisa said...

Dolly Wink has cuter packaging and goes on a little bit smoother than K-Palette so the lines I draw look better now than before. K-Palette is a tad bit more pigmented and is more resistant to smudging. I love both so I can't choose. It's like a "Mom or Dad?" question. :p

Shayne♥ said...

Which one do you think is better? :)

Uisa said...

Haha. I hate it when that happens to me. Oh well, I'm sure you won't forget it the next time you pass by Etude. :)

Shayne♥ said...

what is it with Asian eyeliners and having a dozen versions of packing. kpalette liners are the same :) i might try this liner when ive used up the kpalette, i heard dolly wink is as good in quality.

Uisa said...

Yes, I think the original packaging is really the pink one but this one came with the set (pictured above) so I guess they packaged it differently. I was also surprised when I saw this in Japan. I didn't even recognize it as Dolly Wink at first glance. :D

Uisa said...

Haha. It must be a marketing method to get you to buy another one if you find the other packaging better? Yes, they are pretty much the same in quality. I've tried both. :)

Lily Grace Chao said...

I forgot to buy this when I passed by this afternoon because they are uber cheap.

Kamsahamnida. Yes, I do hope to see you someday too. :)

They have more expensive ones. This is their cheapest mascara variant so you can definitely try it out without spending so much money. :)

Thanks Shayne! Just tried it and it worked for me. Haha. Must be something to do with youtube and its craziness. Hahaha.

After reading your comment, a cloud of doubt went over me and I decided to re-swatch this lip color on the back of my hand. It turns out, it really doesn't have glitters in it. You were actually the one who introduced me to the brand. I think way way back, you suggested that I try the Apricot scrub, which I did. ;)

Anyway, for the green tea cleanser, I hope it does you good and help clear your pimples. :)

A lot of people seem to be unaware of pimple injections but it is a really effective treatment especially for cystic acne. It significantly shrinks within hours! ^^

I highly encourage getting proper derma consultations. I gotta warn you, though. Facials and injections are painful (but bearable.) Without a doubt, it depicts the phrase, "Tiis Ganda". ^^

Uisa said...

I used to use the apricot one before too. ^^ If it's just light acne then I'm sure this would work well. I was using this when I had a bad case of breakouts (like really bad, complete with cystic ones) so it didn't deliver to my expectations. Other people swear by it, though. :)

Thanks for the review dear! I'm having light acne on my forehead and I was like, this is it! When I read your intro. Sayang didn't clear your face, I would love to try sana. i'm using the apricot one :) okay din :)

PaolaPascua said...

that's nice! :) i'll try dolly wink sometime siguro. thanks!

Hollie Damz said...

this is the first time I've heard of pimple injections. heck, I've never been to the derma ever. It's probably high time for me to get proper consultation. Now that I've reach the age 30, I've been having random bumps here and there and most of the pimples are on my cheeks just aren't going away, no matter what I do. I've been using the VMV Hypoallergenics Monolaurin Gel Acne treatment to the said spots. it works wonders on some areas of my face, but the ones on my cheeks are really stubborn. they shrink for a few days then come back again, it's frustrating.

Hollie Damz said...

I've been using the green tea scrub since last year and I still have a lot of product left in the tube... it takes forever to finish it! I've been curious about that green tea cleanser for a while now, I might just give it a try. I've been having pimples on both sides of my cheeks and it really takes a while for them to go. I hope this cleanser helps.

Uisa said...

Me too! No need for lip gloss! ^^

Naku, baka hindi ka hiyang sa kojie-san soap. I suggest stop mo na yung soap. If hindi hiyang sa skin mo, wag natin ipilit kasi pangit din kung negative ang effect, right? Hindi naman kasi panglahatan lahat ng products. For the rashes, make sure not to scratch it para hindi ka magkasugat. Tapos kung feeling mo dry yung skin mo, make sure na maglotion ka. Yung mild lang like baby lotion or cetaphil or physiogel AI. Hope this helped and let me know kung nagsubside. If magpresist pa rin yung rashes, make sure na magpunta ka sa doctor ha?

F.A.Q.
3. Is this advisable for a/an (insert age here) year old boy/girl?
- I just want to clear that gender doesn't really matter but age might be a factor to consider. I'm not an expert. I always say ask a dermatologist/ doctor for this question. Why? Since this is a whitening product, there are chemicals that may not be suitable or not advisable for younger skin. But then again, there are people who have tried using this at an early age and didn't experience any adverse reaction. It all comes down to how sensitive your skin is.
