Monea Hair Supplement Power Dose Hair Repair: Review

About a month ago, I won a giveaway hosted by Kris Lumagui, a fellow Filipina beauty blogger and youtuber. I totally didn't expect to win so when I recevied the notice that I did, I was ecstatic. When I received the package, I found out that I won this Monea Hair Supplement Power Dose Hair Treatment. It came in timely because I just finished the hot oil treatment I was previously using.

Every Tuesdays and Saturdays, I get this excited feeling whenever I go and take a bath. This is because it's the day scheduled for my home hair treatments. I have chemically (color) treated hair so I make it a point that I do hair treatments at least twice a week. It helps keep it shiny and manageable.

This hair treatment is made especially for dry, coarse, brittle or damaged hair caused by several factors. As I've said, I have color treated hair and even though I feel that my hair is still soft and smooth, I still want to continue with weekly hair treatments.

The product is housed in a bright blue 250ml packaging with a bright yellow cap. I really like the colors for this product because it's so bright and eye catching. This is a local product that can be found in Watsons. I'm not sure if it's available in other places but I've only seen it in Watsons before.

The actual product is just a white thick cream that you apply on your damp hair, leave for a few (5-10) minutes then rinse. I usually do this after shampooing my hair.

This is the cute cap I was talking about.

When I first used it, the first thing I noticed is that even though initially, the hair treatment came out thick, it can be easily spread all through out the hair. Also, the smell is soooo refreshing. It's a fusion between floral and citrus scent. I like it a lot.
After rinsing, my hair was, as expected, very soft and smooth. The only thing I would like to point out is that this particular product, although not restricted to, is best suited for straight hair. I loved this when I was still straight because it helps make your hair looks straighter. When I had my perm, however, it weighed my curls down.

I would highly recommend this hair treatment for people who have dry hair or for those who have undergone hair treatments such as hair rebonding, hair coloring, etc. It is available locally so you won't have to stress over where to go it.

Have you tried this product before? Let me know in the comment section below. :)

With Love,
Anna Luisa
