Pond's Gold Radiance Youth Reviving Eye Cream: Review

When I hit my 20s, I realized that using eye creams really are necessary. I don't even know why it took me a while before getting used to the idea of putting eye cream. I was a little too late. I already had few fine lines when I started but at least it's now become a habit and I like to think it prevents further signs of aging.

The truth is, my holy grail eye cream isn't always readily available and it sucks when it's out of stock. That's why I hoard back ups now. A few months ago, however, I forgot to buy a back up and when I finally  finished the whole tub, I still haven't had the chance to find a store that sells my favorite eye cream.

I couldn't leave my under eye area unattended so I setlled for this eye cream that's readily available in local stores, the Ponds Gold Radiance Youth Reviving Eye Cream.

Clinique All About Eyes: Review

When should one start applying eye cream? In their 20s? 30s? That is the question. After reading through several articles, it is said and agreed upon by many different dermatologists that eye cream isn't necessary in the 20s unless you have dry skin. Otherwise, they just promote sun protection.

I am in my mid-20s and I've been using eye creams for about 5 years now. I also have oily skin. Does that mean I've been doing my routine wrong all this time? Not necessarily. Although experts say that most people don't need it in this period of time, there are still exceptions to the rule. In my case, I started noticing dryness under my eyes at the young age of 21. Dryness leads to fine lines. Who wants that? I know I don't. This pushed me to start with eye cream.

Pure Beauty Super Brightening Eye Gel: Review

Hi everyone! I'm back with a review on a skin care product called Pure Beauty Super Brightening Eye Gel. I'm using the previous photo I took when I first bought it so the photos may look familiar to some of you. (I kind of threw away the product after I used it all up and forgot to take shots of it before doing so.)

please don't mind the lipstick on the photo. i won't talk about that product here.

Anyway, Pure Beauty is another Korean brand and I guess by now you'd know how pleased I am with Korean products. I decided to try this one out because I have really bad dark under eye circles + fine lines. Sadly, this product was not the solution I was looking for. And yes, I think this product is NOT WORTH IT.

Pros:
- good tube type packaging
- nice smell
- good consistency (not sticky at all)
- good under eye moisturizer
- affordable
- available in most Watsons branches
- 15ml would definitely last you long

Cons:
- did little, if not nothing for my dark circles and fine lines

I used this for quite a while (4-5 months). I apply it both during the day and night. I've used up the product and my friends claim it did something (little improvement) with my under eye problems but I'm not satisfied. Sadly, I won't be re-purchasing this product anymore. Ever since I've used this one up, I started using THEFACESHOP Wrinkle Stop Abyssine Eye Cream and the results are promising. I'll probably talk more about that product after using it some more.

NOTE: I'm pretty sure I took some shots of the tube and the product itself. Will try to find where I saved it and just update this post in the future. :)

Facial Exercise: Getting Rid of Eye Bags

I was looking through different magazines and I saw this facial exercise good for eye bags. I was going to take pictures on how to do it but I found an existing video on youtube which is very similar to the instructions I've read. I've been doing this for a couple of days now. I haven't really seen gross improvement but I guess there's nothing wrong in trying it out.

Enjoy! :)
