Qik or It Didn't Happen

A picture is worth a thousand words but you can say more with Qik, a quick video messaging/communication app that allows you to exchange instant and quick video meessages for free. I've only had it on my phone for a few days and I believe it is here to stay.

It allows me to exchange  videos with a group of friends without the hassle. Just like it's name, it's so quick and easy to use.

With the Skype Qik video messenger, you can create groups easily from the contacts on your phone, and send messages to them privately. You can also enjoy watching your chat movie grow as more people respond.

Instead of plainly recommending a tv show or a movie to a friend by giving out the show title in text, I can send videos of me watching the show! It adds a little extra and it actually works to convince them to watch them ASAP! Of course, the use of this app isn't limited to that. I can easily show my friends how to use a certain product when they don't know how to by quickly sending them a short how-to video.

Another app feature you might enjoy is that you can pre-record up to 12 short videos for when you want to respond fast. Yes, stickers are fun while it lasted but now, you have a personalized moving smiley. :)

Oh, and if you realize you sent a video by mistake or changed your mind about having your video in your friend's phone, you can easily delete it and it will also get removed from the participant's phone. No need for "Oh-no-I-sent-a-wrong-video-and-I-can't-do-anything-about-it" moment anymore!

This is definitely a must-try app and you can easily get Skype Qik through the Windows Phone Store, Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
With Love,
Anna Luisa
