C20 Pure Vitamin C 21.5 Advanced Serum: Review

Hi guys! Did you miss me? I missed blogging a lot! I've been too busy with work that I didn't have time to write reviews as much as I wanted to. I haven't shared this yet but I've gone back to being a nurse. I still work in the ICU. The only difference is that I'm working for a smaller hospital near my house instead of my previous one. Anyway, I won't get into that. I'll get on with the review. :)

Today, I'm going to be reviewing this Vitamin C 21.5 serum from Wishtrend. I was lucky enough to be offered to write down a review regarding this product. I tested it out for about 2 months just to make sure that I can give you an in depth review of the product. I also tried taking before and after photos for reference.

I usually use this product twice a day after I apply toner.

I noticed it's been quite a while since my face last received TLC with the use of face mask. The last time I had it was when I used this one from Innisfree. I have a good reason for skipping on face masks though (This is another story.).

While looking through my blog photos folder, I noticed this one from the lot and I realized I haven't made a post about it yet so here I am!

This face mask, supposedly, is made to give vitality and energy to your skin. Whatever may that mean, this face mask just functions like any other face mask I've tried out there. What's different, for me, is only the variant, which is Red Cabbage. I haven't tried it before so it was something new.

Performance wise, it was pretty much just the same as any other road shop brand face mask. It didn't break me out, made my skin soft and feel supple. Frankly speaking, it was nothing out of the ordinary. Don't get me wrong, though. I would still recommend this product to anyone who's interested in trying out face masks especially those who wants to try the 'One Mask A Day' skin treatment and wants different variants.

CELLBN Skincare Set: Review

I know it took me such a long time to finally review (or rave on) this product for you but that's only because I want to try the brand thoroughly. Despite the fact that I got the product for free (through a giveaway), I still wanted to give my honest opinions on the product. And I didn't think that rushing would be any good for anyone. So after a good long month, I have finally decided to give my two cents on this skin care set from the Korean brand CELLBN. I have the toner, serum and moisture cream with me. But before anything else, let me leave you this video of my first impressions on this particular product.

The things such as smell, consistency, packaging, of course, did not change so I won't be going through that any more. My short video above already covered that up. I also won't be digging through what each product promises to do and its ingredients as i have already posted an overview of these three products that touched through those. What I will be talking about in this particular entry is the all over effects of the set after a long use. For reference, I will be talking about the CELLBN Damage Multiaction Toner, CELLBN Damage Precious Serum and the CELLBN Damage Deep Moisture Cream.

 Before using CELLBN

But before I go into the effects, let me take this opportunity to tell you about my skin condition before I used the set. I had oily, acne prone, sensitive skin. Well, actually, I still do. But back then, I had dry patches around my nose brought about some acne-related skin care products. You see, my previous skin care routine was from a dermatologist. It was an effective set that helped control my breakouts and help deal with the scars that are left behind. It had its merits but disadvantages cannot be avoided as well. Most of the products in that set had micro-peeling properties. This resulted in redness and peeling. There were also noted stinging sensations whenever I try to apply my topical antibiotics. In general, I felt like my skin became even more sensitive. But then again, I was scared of trying out other products as there is a possibility that I might break out again, and it's definitely something that I don't aim for.

Then come the opportunity for this particular skin care set from Korea. Honestly, I didn't know anything about the brand but it was organic and it came from a reliable website called WishTrend. So I took a leap of faith and I'm glad I did. One month ago, I had pretty decent skin with occasional breakouts. Now, I still have hormonal acne here and there but I felt like my skin has improved over all!

 One day after

I personally didn't see any improvement immediately after using the products but on the day after, my mom complimented me for having a fresh look, immediately after getting up from bed. I thought it was bogus as I didn't really think a product can have such immediate effects but to be honest, I felt good about myself that day.

 One week after

After a week, I have noticed that my skin condition has improved a lot. There was no stinging sensation at all, no redness and most of all, the dry patches are gone! For a makeup enthusiast, having those dry patches sail away is something to be excited about as makeup application will be much easier. And it did! Gone are the days when most of my makeup would gather around dry patches of skin on my nose, chin and even worse, on my cheeks!

Two weeks after, I felt like my skin looked brighter and healthier. It's quite hard to explain as I didn't really notice my pores getting smaller and the acne scars didn't ultimately fade away but there was something about my skin that made me look fresh and dare I say, youthful! For the record, I am only 24 years old so I don't really categorize myself as old but there has been some rejuvenating effects and I can't deny it.

To date, I still use the same product day and night. I tried going back to my old skin care routine just for an experiment but I couldn't last for more than 3 days as I was getting bugged by my old skin horrors of redness, stinging and patches almost immediately from the start of the study. Needless to say, I really think this set is a big improvement on my previous routine and I'm not even sure if I will be able to let go of these products in the future. CELLBN Organic Skin Care Set (WishTrend): Introduction

Hi guys! I'm here for one of my most awaited posts. My introduction of the CELLBN Skin Care Set! Yay!

Remember my Wishtrend unboxing video? Last month, I won an organic skin care set from the brand called CELLBN. I've never tried any of their products before but before I go into that, let's talk about organic skin care first. What exactly is organic skin care? Recently, there has been an ongoing trend for all things natural. We want our makeup and curls to seem natural and a lot of people are practicing eating healthy food. The same trend took over the skin care industry and a lot of brands has started to come up with organic skin care products.

I'm pretty sure you want to know what organic skin care is and the easiest way to explain what it is is that it is basically skin care that has no harmful chemicals infused in its ingredients. It usually contains naturally derived ingredients, ingredients that you actually have an idea of once you read it on the list. Now let's talk about CELLBN, the brand we will be focusing on this post. It is a Korean brand that specializes in... Well, you guessed it right- Organic Skin Care! What makes them different from other names out there is they have the patent for a technology that allows organic products to have longer shelf life (around 1.5 years from manufacture date and 6 months upon opening), which used to be one, if not the only problem for organic products. They have developed the use of natural preservatives in skin care products. Now, since they have the know-how in keeping the products viable for a longer period of time compared to others, their products are at an advantage since this would reduce the possibility of you having to throw out products sooner than later (because of expiration). CELLBN is also known for their "15-Day Miracle". Moving on, I won Wishtrend's giveaway which allowed me to try out this precious skin care set. I got the toner, serum and moisture cream. I use it after I wash my face with my Organic Aloe Jojoba soap.

 Time to practice Hangul! Don't fret. I also have captures of its english descriptions.

After washing my face, I use the CELLBN Damage Multiaction Toner. It has whitening and anti-wrinkle functions. 86% of its total ingredients are from organic farming. The list of ingredients will be shown in one of the photos below.

It is a new conceptual emulsion type of high functional 2 in 1 toner which keeps the skin texture moist and soft as natural organic ingredients are absorbed softly into the skin and give moisture, softness and vitality to the skin.-- CELLBN Box Literature

After the skin has fully absorbed the toner, I then apply the CELLBN Damage Precious Serum as a penetrating everyday treatment deep into the skin. Just like the toner, it has whitening and anti-wrinkle properties. 87% of its total ingredients are derived from organic farming. Again, ingredients are shown in one of the photos below.

It is a high functional serum which keeps the skin clear and transparent and gives elasticity and gloss to the skin as organic oils such as organic Aloe Vera, organic Jojoba oil, organic Calendula oil, etc. are absorbed deep into the skin and keep balance between oil and water.-- CELLBN Box Literature

The last step after the serum has been fully absorbed into the skin would be the application of the CELLBN Damage Deep Moisture Cream. 83% of its total ingredients are derived from organic farming. Again, it also has whitening and anti-wrinkle properties. The list of ingredients are found below.
