iWhite BB.Holic Everyday BB Cream: Review

iWhite is getting a lot of hype these days, especially after they revamped their packaging and beauty bloggers/vloggers started raving about their products. This was so apparent with their Aqua Moisturizer, which is a big hit to most people. I've also tried that product before but I will save my review for that in a later post. Today, we are going to be talking about their newly released bb cream.

The BB Cream is called BB.Holic. It has been in the market for quite some time now but I think it is not yet available nationwide as I still haven't seen this particular product in local drugstores and supermarkets near my place. I had to go grab one when I dropped by SM Makati, just to be able to try this one. This explains why I wasn't able to review this product early on.

Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence with BB: Review

Last December, I got a surprise package from the good people of Vibelle Corporation. I wasn't expecting anything from anyone so imagine my surprise when I saw a parcel addressed to me arrive. When I finally opened the package, I was extremely happy to see this goodness.

Tony Moly BCDation All Master: Review

Hi everyone! Today's review is all about the Tony Moly BCDation All Master SPF 30 PA++. I got this particular product as a part of my Memebox Global #15, which I unboxed here. However, even before I got my Memebox, I was already very interested in getting my own Tony Moly BCDation the moment it was released. It was on the top of my list of 'things to buy' when I go to South Korea but I was fortunate that I was able to get my hands on it before the planned date.

Nature Republic (BB Cream, Powder, Mask Sheets, etc.): Haul

My love for Korean beauty and skin care products has been established over the last 3 years but my love for Nature Republic didn't shine through until late last year, when the models were changed to SNSD's Taeyeon and EXO. Fangirl at heart, I couldn't resist the temptation of buying products from the brand because both models are my favorites.

I now have my membership card! Card no. smudged, of course. ;)

A little over a month ago, while strolling around Festival Mall Alabang, I passed by the Nature Republic boutique and decided for myself that I would finally purchase enough products to get myself a membership card. To get a membership card, you must have a single receipt purchase of at least PHP 1000.

Nature Republic By Flower Powder Pact and BB Cream

My sister was in need of a new powder pact so I got one for her and I threw in this BB Cream from the same line, with the intention of giving it away as gift. But just so you know, the BB Cream is still with me and I'm still contemplating whether I should give it to my friend or not. ;p

Nature Republic Given By Nature Green Tea Mask Sheet

I also bought a few face masks because I'm such a sucker for them. Of course, I didn't forget about my favorite Orange Mask Sheet. I also got the Green Tea variant because the saleslady said it's the best choice for oily skin.

And because the things I bought weren't exactly on the high end lines, the total price didn't reach PHP 1000. Good thing I was shopping with a friend and she got a few stuff like (more) mask sheets and the Aloe Vera 92% Soothing Gel. She knew I wanted a membership card so she just had her purchases punched together with mine to reach exactly PHP 1000! Yay!

Just like any other Korean brands, they gave me some freebies to try out. I got a (Not for Sale) Argan Oil Mask Sheet with an EXO print and a sample sachet of the Super Aqua Max Combination Watery Cream.

Now, I only have one problem left. I can't bear opening the EXO face mask! Hahahaha! I view it as a collectible so I highly doubt the product to be of use anytime soon.

To end this post, let me leave you a random photo of my nails using a Cherry Picnic design that I got from elle & ish. I know my recreation is not even half as good as the original but I'm fine with it. ;)

Innisfree Mineral Whipping BB Cream: Review

It's always more fun when your styling or makeup products dispenses in a foam/ mousse form. It could just be the kid in me but it was definitely one of the reasons why I bought this Innisfree Whipping BB Cream.

The cap is dirty, I know. I'm sorry but I didn't want to clean it up just for this photo since this is already an empty container. ;p

At first, I was not sure if it would really foam up like other mouse products (hair mousse). I had to do some research. I mean, the online beauty community is so big that one of them must have tried this product already, right? Right? Well, that's what I thought too. So I looked and searched but only got limited write ups regarding this particular product. I got a little bit frustrated so I decided to just buy the product and just trust on the fact that this is a Korean product (always a plus for a K-Pop fan like me) and that Innisfree is a good established road shop brand with good skin care and makeup items. My initial plan was to purchase this, try it out then make a video review on my channel to add onto the limited number of posts regarding this product. I was so set on my goal that I didn't realize that I was using the product too much and that it got used up even before I was able to take a photo of the actual product, let alone film a video review for my channel. So here I am, very sorry, because now you only have my words to rely on. I don't have photos and videos to prove whatever I am trying to say. BUT! If you've been a follower/ subscriber of mine for quite some time, you'd know that I don't sugar coat my reviews. I say it as I view it. It doesn't matter if it's sponsored or not, I just write everything down honestly. So expect the rest of this post to be full of honest words straight from the heart (or brain, whichever you prefer).

So initially, I didn't really like the product. I mean, I liked the packaging and I like the fact that it actually foams up. But the thing is, it only dispenses white mousse that doesn't really provide any coverage nor color. It was like I wasn't putting anything on my face. Honestly, I thought I wasted PHP800 for something that can be described as 'more than disappointing'. Good thing my sister borrowed it from me, shook it vigorously, and dispensed the product. Imagine my surprise when beige colored foam came out from the nozzle! It turns out, I wasn't shaking the bottle vigorous enough. The color is a good light beige color with NO grey undertone. The coverage is light but it does brighten the face and evens out my skin tone. Concealer is definitely expected for blemishes and other discolorations, though. It feels very light on the skin and gets absorbed easily with a nice finish between matte and dewy. I don't get too oily with this particular product and the best part is it didn't break me out. If you have nice skin to begin with, I would highly recommend this product.

I particularly got this from gailygirl on ebay with my own money. This is not a sponsored post.

Holika Holika All That BB Cream : Review

Hi guys! I'm here for a long overdue post regarding a particular BB Cream that I've used last year. I bought this as a gift for my sister but I also got to use it for a few times (with permission, of course) so that I can review it. I actually already have a video up regarding this particular product and at the end of the video, I promised to write a more in depth review on it but I never got to do it shortly after I had the video up so I'm just doing it now.

I got this BB Cream from an online shop called Kkochipida. No, I'm not sponsored. I bought this with my own money and all the things I'm about to say are my personal opinions.

As I've said in the video (if you've watched it), this particular product is not one of Holika Holika's popular items. One of their more known products would have to be their Aqua Petite Jelly BB Cream that has been one of the most raved BB Creams of all time (in youtube) especially during summer season. There's limited review regarding this particular product so I decided to give it a try and tell you guys how my experience was with using it as a makeup base.

PACKAGING:

Let's first talk about the packaging. This particular product comes in a bluish purple packaging with a pump. Yes, it has a pump! Yay! Need I say more? I love pumps! It helps in controlling the amount of product to be dispensed, it's hygienic and it just looks better overall.

COLOR:

I got the shade no. 2 Natural Beige. At first, I thought that the shade would be too dark for both my sister and I but I tried swatching it at the back of my hand and I then thought it was going to be too fair. After blending everything completely, though, I was fine with the result. The shade is brightening and it has evened out my skin tone.

COVERAGE:
With one layer, it has successfully covered some of my imperfections. On a regular basis, I don't use concealer anymore since it already does a good enough job of brightening my under eye area and evening out my skin tone. You can also use two layers for more coverage but for full coverage of pimples and scarring, a little bit of concealer is needed.

CONSISTENCY:

The BB Cream in general is not sticky. At first, you would feel the presence of the BB Cream but in a few minutes, it would be as if you're not wearing anything at all.

FINISH:
This has a slightly dewy finish that is suitable for many skin types. I personally am oily and even though it's slightly dewy, it doesn't make me look greasy.

LASTING POWER:
I actually just apply this once on my face and I never retouch. Fading occurs right about the 4 hour mark but I only reapply powder and I'm good to go.

LONG TERM EFFECTS:
This BB Cream has SPF 27 and a PA ++, which is a good addition to my SPF 60 sunscreen. The packaging is all in Korean so I don't really know what it promises but one good thing about it is that it doesn't break me out.

This is a good BB Cream for everyday use. We already used it up and the only reason why we're not buying another tube is because we want to explore other BB Creams in the market for reviewing purposes but otherwise, I wouldn't mind buying the same product again.

2 in 1 Review: BB Creams (Missha and Colour Collection)

Okay, so I guess some of you have watched my latest youtube upload and some have not. But as promised, I will be doing a more in depth review of these two bb creams that I've been using lately. I won't be doing a long introduction this time around since I will have to talk about two products in one post and a long intro might just bore you and force you to close this tab (or window).

MISSHA SIGNATURE WRINKLE FILLER BB CREAM

The thing that I like the most about this bb cream is the packaging. It looks so lovely, just like a perfume bottle.

I got this BB Cream from an online shop in facebook called Kkochipida. It's an online shop specialized in Korean beauty products. The owner is like a sale expert. She knows when there would be an ongoing sale in the Korean beauty market so she always has a lot of k-beauty products to offer at a cheaper price (compared to other online sites). If you want, you can click on the link above to check her page out.

Before anything else, can I just say that the packaging of this product is B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L? It looks like a perfume bottle! It's one of the many reasons why I decided to get this particular product. It also comes with a pump so that's another plus! Another good thing is that this particular bb cream lets you take a peek on the actual product inside so you'd know when you're almost running out. The swirl of brown and white is the actual product, by the way.

COLOR:

I got the shade no. 21.

Primer + BB Cream= Swirl of white and brown

As stated above, the swirl of brown and white is the actual product and when you dispense the product, the normal beige color comes out, along with some of the white. If you look at the demo video, you'd see what I was trying to explain. Initial blending shows a little white cast (probably due to the white part of the bb cream) but once everything has been blended and set, the white cast disappears. I got the shade #21 and it's a pretty good match with my skin with a little bit of brightening effect.

CONSISTENCY:

This bb cream is quite creamy but not sticky. It takes a little time to set but not a big deal since that gives me more time to blend the product without having to rush.
COVERAGE:
It has a good medium buildable coverage. It was able to even out my skin tone and conceal some of my dark spots.
FINISH:
It has a slight dewy finish. I prefer to set it with powder since I have oily skin but if you want that glowy effect, you can use this product on its own.
LASTING POWER:
Since this bb cream is infused with primer, I feel that this bb cream stays on longer than the others I've used. Probably around 5-6 hours? Truth be told, I never counted. One thing's for sure, though. I never touch up after using this. I do have to blot every now and then but I don't feel the need of having to retouch even if I live in a very humid country.
LONG-TERM EFFECTS:
Now this bb cream claims to have wrinkle improvement properties but since I don't have that much problem in that area, I can't really say anything about that. After using this product, however, my breakouts have lessened so I guess the ingredients (of this product) and my skin are good friends.

COLOUR COLLECTION BB CREAM

Got this particular bb cream from sampleroom.ph

 Made in Korea!

Colour Collection was a brand that I never heard of before. I learned about this through a site called Sample Room where they offer different samples of different featured brands/products. There'a point system that I won't be talking about in this page. Basically, though, you don't pay for the samples. You use points! You need to pay for shipping, though. But I think that's okay especially if you're planning to sample more than one product. To learn more about Sample Room and their point system, go to their website as linked above.

Packaging-wise, this bb cream seems to be on the losing end. It's a metallic blue colored squeeze tube packaging and although I have nothing against these types of packaging, I prefer pumps so I guess I'm naturally not impressed with the packaging. Just to be clear though, I am not impressed but definitely not disappointed. To sum it up, I feel neutral about the packaging itself.

There's a foil seal to ensure that the bb cream hasn't been opened yet.

COLOR:
The color is a little bit darker than the usual bb creams I use but since I feel that this bb cream doesn't oxidize on me, it's okay. It still has the brightening effect and matches well with my skin tone.

CONSISTENCY:

This bb cream is creamy, almost colloidal. But I like it. It helps in controlling the product dispensing. Although this bb cream is a little bit heavier than other bb creams I've used, I wouldn't say it's bothersome. It's not lightweight but not overly heavy so I guess it's somewhere in between.

COVERAGE:

It has a good medium buildable coverage. I don't feel the need to use concealers when using this for everyday.

FINISH:
It has a dewy finish which I like to set with powder.

LASTING POWER:
It lasts about 4-5 hours but I'm not really the type of person to count since most of the time, I don't retouch my base makeup.

LONG-TERM EFFECTS:

This bb cream claims to have a whitening effect but I never really noticed any difference in my skin tone after using this.

Skin 79 Hot Pink Triple Function BB Cream: Review

As promised (in my latest youtube video), I will be doing a full review on the Skin 79 Hot Pink Triple Function BB Cream. As I've mentioned in the video, this bb cream has been out in the market for quite some time now and a lot of beauty bloggers and youtubers have already talked about how great this product is. This is just another post to add in on the lot of existing reviews already out there.

COLOR:
This bb cream has a bit of grey undertone but I don't really mind since it blends nicely to my skin once applied.

CONSISTENCY:

This bb cream is not sticky. It is easily blendable and gets absorbed by the skin quickly. It also has a lightweight feel perfect for humid countries like the Philippines and during summer time.

COVERAGE:

The bb cream does brighten the face but it offers too little coverage. It definitely won't be able to cover imperfections such as hyperpigmentations, acne scars and all that. You would definitely need a concealer for this.

FINISH:

I wouldn't say it's matte, wouldn't say it's dewy either. It's kind of just in between. I kinda like it because your skin doesn't look flat and dry but it also doesn't look extra greasy/oily.

LASTING POWER:

I don't think it lasts for long especially with oil control. I'd have to say it stays good for about 3-4 hours. Do take note that I have oily skin.

LONG-TERM EFFECTS:

This bb cream did not break me out. Since I only used this for a couple of days so I couldn't really say anything about it's wrinkle improvement properties as well as its whitening property.

This bb cream is a good bb cream especially during this season of heat (summer) but I really don't recommend this for people like me who have a lot os imperfections. No, I wouldn't be repurchasing this product simply because I'd rather try out more bb creams that offer more coverage that I need. If you have good skin to begin with, however, I highly recommend that you try this bb cream out.

Hanskin Glossy Magic BB Cream + Hanskin Mineral Magic BB Cream: Review

Hi everyone! Sorry for MIA-ing on you. I haven't had time to actually check my site out cause I've been mass filming tutorials for my youtube account lately. I feel pressured because I'm going to start training in the hospital soon and I know I'll be pretty busy when that happens but anyway, I'm back and I'm here for a back to back review! Yay! :)

Here's just a simple review on the first 2 bb creams I've tried, both from the same brand Hanskin. I couldn't say much about the product specifics because the descriptions were in korean.

Just click on the photos above to direct you to the youtube link.
