Watsons Green Tea Antioxidant Oil Control Facial Toner: Review

Hi guys! Another review from me! Yay! It's been so long! Today's review, however, is not a good one. Last month, I bought this toner at Watsons called Watsons Green Tea Antioxidant Oil Control Facial Toner. What lured me to buy the product is the nice scent and of course, the reasonable price of (around) PHP89.00. This toner smells really refreshing but it BROKE ME OUT! U_U

At first, I thought the whole acne drama was all because of my period and my hormones. I stopped using it, had my  facial and waited for my face to clear up. A few days ago, after my face has fully recovered, I decided to  try it again just to see if it really was the product that made me break out or if it was just a coincidence. Sad to say, it wasn't. I just used it for two consecutive days and it broke me out so bad. My forehead is now filled with huge red zits all over. I feel really ashamed to go outside (especially at work where I'm required to tie my hair up and put my bangs away from my face). I would take pictures just to prove it if it didn't embarrass me so much. Yes, that's how bad the situation is right now. Sad to say, I won't be recommending this product for other people to use.

To its defense, my sister uses the product for herself and it did not cause her to break out. In the end, I just gave her the product.

Pros:
- nice smell
- reasonable price
- easily accessible
- doesn't leave skin dry

Cons:
- BREAKS ME OUT like there's no tomorrow!

Now is it worth it? For me? NO!

Mini Korean Skin Care and Cosmetics Haul

Hi everyone! I'm here to share with you a mini korean skin care and cosmetics haul that I got for myself over the past weeks. I'm very happy with these purchases although I haven't really had the chance to use the products yet.

So I purchased the following for myself:

- THEFACESHOP Wrinkle Stop Abyssine Eye Cream for PHP 995.00
- THEFACESHOP Eyebrow Kit for PHP 355.00
- THEFACESHOP Freshian Volumizing Mascara for PHP 265.00
- Etude House Milk Tea Cleansing Cream for PHP 198.00

I got the THEFACESHOP Quick and Clean Toner and Emulsion for free. Along with that, I also got a FREE Bench Fix Proteline Hair Treatment because of a promo that THEFACESHOP had last October 2011. (For every PHP1,500 single receipt purchase, you get a free hair treatment.)

Out of all these products, the only product that I've started to use is the cleansing cream. Nevertheless, if you are interested to know what I think of these products and you want me to review them, let me  know so I can list it in my 'to review' list. :)

Shine Moist Henna Wax in Natural: Review

Hi guys! It's been such a  long time and as always, I only have my laziness + work to blame. Anyway, this has been a requested review from my previous post about hair conditioning. I've used up this product already and wanted you guys to know what I think of the product.

A few years back, I've had problems with my hair being dull. Now while I was strolling around Landmark Makti, I saw this area for Shine Moist products. I was actually looking for a hair cellophane product but the salesladies led me towards that area. The lady convinced me that henna wax is something like hair cellophane. It's just that the product comes off easier. So I ended up buying the product and I got the shade "Natural" which actually means it's colorless. It just makes the hair shiny and doesn't add color to the hair. There are other colors available though.

From what I've heard and read, the product comes off in a span of 7 days so people tend to use this product weekly. I haven't tried the colored ones though so I'm definitely just restating what I've heard and read. No personal experience with it whatsoever.

Personally, I like the product because I was looking for a product that would make my hair shiny and it did. Yay!

Pros:
- not expensive
- available locally
- smells super nice
- makes your hair shiny
- variety of colors available (you also have the option to choose the colorless one)

Cons:
- color doesn't stay for long according to other people
- shine doesn't stay permamanent as well

Is it WORTH IT? For me, YES. :)

Baviphat Apple All-in-One Peeling Gel: Review

So I was really curious as to what this product is all about. I've never tried peeling gels before. I think I've seen Etude House carry something similar to this. Well, anyway, because I've only tried chemical peeling through my dermatologist, I was hesitant to buy the full size so I got a trial/sample version from e-bay, thanks to BIGTOKYO. :)

I'm sorry I have no before, during and after shots. Basically, what happens is when you apply it and rub it on your face, white product/ clumps form and frankly speaking I'm not really sure if that's the product, your dead skin or both! All I know is that after rinsing, my face feels super soft and smells super good.

Pros:
- smells super good (like apple, of course)
- makes skin super soft
- removes dead skin instantly

Cons:
- not available locally (i think)

Is it worth it? YES. Will I buy the product again? If it becomes available locally, WHY NOT? If not, then I'd have to mark that as a MAYBE. xp

Human Nature: Haul + Giveaway

SanSan Soleil Lip Colour Pink Tropics: Review

And so I bought this lip colours more than a month ago and as I always say, I haven't had the time to post about it. I saw some reviews regarding this summer SanSan line so when I went to check out HBC, I got 2 of the 3 available lip colors. Just don't ask me why I didn't get all three when I still could. I got Pink Tropics and Peach Ibiza. Now I regret not getting the Nude Carribean. I kept Pink Tropics for myself, which I really love and gave my Peach Ibiza away as one of my gifts.

Anyway, the packaging is so cute, as you can see. And it smells like coconut or something. What's best about it is that it only costs PHP 109.75 each! Cheap, right?

Cons:
- Easily fades

Would I buy it again? Hmmm... Probably not the same color but I'm thinking of buying Nude Carribean. And yes, this is worth it. :)

Hi guys!

I know I have been neglecting my blog for weeks now and I'm really sorry for that. I have no time to update ever since I started training for work. So I'm really sorry for that. This is also why I encourage all of you to subscribe to my youtube channel because apparently, I am more active there. Haha!

I thank all the followers, though, who stick with me and read my posts. Recently, I got some awards from some of my beautiful followers. I also received a tag and a small gift.

Myra Vitaglow Tinted Moisturizer: Review

I know I've been out for so long but I will be making it up to you guys with a review. Today's my birthday, by the way, and I just turned 22. It's off topic but I wanted to say it anyway.

I've been using Myra Vitaglow Tinted Moisturizer for about three weeks now and I must say that for PHP 135, this product is super worth it! I use it everyday for work. I got the one in Beige but I kind of have a feeling Ivory would be better. Beige is not that bad but since the coverage is very sheer I think Ivory would liven up my face more compared to the Beige one, which is a bit dark for my face.

 

Pros:
- super cheap
- makes your skin 'glow'
- doesn't feel heavy at all
- doesn't break me out
- has a lot of product for just PHP 135
- widely distributed locally
- easy to blend with your natural skin tone (Beige is actually a bit dark on me but it blends pretty well on my skin. I have a feeling Ivory would look better on me.)
- has tiny glitters (Some people hate this but I really like it. They're really small, barely noticeable and just makes your skin look more vibrant.)

Cons:
- only has 2 colors (I think i'm in between the two.)
- can't control the amount of product

Again, to wrap this review up, this product is super worth it. I highly recommend for you guys to try this product.

Aido Classic Lipstick in Shade N: Review

I'm not sure if you guys have noticed this particular product in my collective haul last June but I just got to use this lipstick continuously these past 2 weeks and now I'm ready to give my verdict on the product.

I've used this for work. I personally planned to use my Artmatic Nutmeg lipstick topped off with my Fashion 21 liquid lipstick as gloss over it but our trainer wants our make-up to look lively so I chose to use this pink lipstick here.

Pros:
- Shade is lovely
- Super cheap (PHP 50)
- Available locally (bought mine in SM Makati Watson's)

Cons:
- Tends to dry the lips (make sure to apply lip balm before use)
- Not long lasting
- Hate the packaging (lipstick doesn't go all the way into the tube)

So after all these, would I repurchase? MAYBE. But only to try a different shade.

Anyway, I mentioned in the previous post that I joined her giveaways and yesterday, I was really tired because I went to Makati for final instructions on my upcoming training and when I got home, I checked my youtube channel and I found out that I won her giveaway! Yay! :D

When the announcement finally kicked into my system, I got up and jumped around the house! I was super duper happy! I told my mom (and all the people around the house) about the good news and a big smile was plastered all over my face. Anyway, I'm just super duper happy and until now, I just can't hide my happiness about what just transpired. Hanskin Glossy Magic BB Cream + Hanskin Mineral Magic BB Cream: Review

Hi everyone! Sorry for MIA-ing on you. I haven't had time to actually check my site out cause I've been mass filming tutorials for my youtube account lately.
