If you're a subscriber on my channel, then you've probably already heard of this but I'm currently hosting a giveaway on my youtube channel. This is in line with reaching a milestone which is getting 1000 subscribers. I know that doesn't sound a lot to some of you but to me, it is. So to thank my viewers, I cooked up a 1000 subscriber giveaway.
Originally, it was supposed to be a sponsored giveaway by a company. I had a lot of hair care products for giveaway. However, I had some problems and I had to change the prizes. Instead of the hair care products, the winner will be receiving 2 Matte in Detail Lipsticks in the Shade Rox and Dimple. On this post, I will be explaining as to why I had to change my prizes. So now let's talk about why I had to change the prizes. Basically, I had the same goodies to giveaway for my 850 subscriber giveaway and I sent the products before the holiday. Unfortunately, when I followed up with the winner, the package did not arrive. I had to get in touch with the courier and it took so long to get the final result of the investigation. Long story short, they lost it! Unfortunately, the discussion about the compensation even got longer because I did not declare the amount of the items. Another long story short, they wouldn't pay the exact amount of the items but I had to settle with it. Because my 850 subscriber winner, Kissy, has been waiting for the items since December, I decided to give her the hair care products for my 1000 subscriber giveaway, thinking that I can just buy the exact items for my ongoing giveaway.
Fastforward to a few days ago, I really could not find the hair care products so I just decided to change the prizes. Anyway, I hope you don't mind that I did and hope that you would join HERE.
